The exhibition explores the formal and conceptual relationships between works of these two masters of modern Brazilian furniture.

Afro Fovismo is another Almeida´s perception of Afro-Brazilian culture, historically permeated by European influences.

Fovismo from the French Fauves is beyond an aesthetic reference and is an appropriate metaphor as Afro-Brazilian culture is anthropophagic and capable of digesting symbols of the most diverse forms of expression.

A great promoter of functional art in Brazil, Rodrigo Almeida´s works are part of public and private collections like Center Georges Pompidou in France, MAD-NY, in Israel at the Design Museum Holon, and in the private collection of Li Edelkoort in Paris.

Exhibition dedicated to the multi-artist Geraldo de Barros, who throughout his career was a reference in furniture design. The show, organized by Projeto Isso, is focused on furniture by Hobjeto, which was born in the 60s after the designer's work at Unilabor, in the previous decade.
