The Exu Lamp was presented in 2013 at the Afro-Brazil Museum in Sao Paulo, during Rodrigo Almeida’s solo exhibition.
On that occasion, the piece was installed at the museum’s entrance, following the guidance of Emanoel Araújo, then director of the institution.

Positioning the lamp at the entrance symbolizes this function, inviting visitors to cross a threshold that connects the mundane to the divine, offering a spiritual and cultural experience from the moment they enter the museum.”

A chair of this collection is part of the permanent collection of the Van Abbe Museum.

A luminária Exu foi apresentada em 2013 no Museu Afro Brasil, em São Paulo, na exposição individual de Rodrigo Almeida.
Na ocasião, a peça foi instalada na entrada do museu, seguindo a orientação de Emanoel Araújo, então diretor da instituição.
